Is StudyCapy free?
Your first note is free, no credit card needed, and that note gets smart notes, a quiz and flashcards. After that, StudyCapy Unlimited unlocks unlimited notes, billed through the App Store. You can cancel anytime from your Apple ID settings.
What does Capy make from my notes?
Three things from one upload: smart notes you can read, a multiple-choice quiz with explanations, and flashcards you flip and rate. You pick the mode you feel like.
What can I upload?
Photos of your notes (handwritten or printed), screenshots, and PDFs. Up to 20 photos per note, and up to 50 MB per file.
How long does it take?
Under a minute for most notes. The first quiz questions are playable in about 15 seconds, smart notes take 10 to 40 seconds, and flashcards take 10 to 20 seconds when you open them.
Does it work in my language?
Yes. Capy keeps the language of your material, so French notes give you French flashcards. The app interface itself is English for now.
How does StudyCapy help me remember?
It is built on active recall: pulling an answer out of memory beats rereading. Whatever you miss comes back more often, and something counts as mastered once you have it right twice, with separate progress for the quiz and the flashcards.
Is my study material used to train AI?
No. Your notes are only used to make your study set and are never used to train AI models. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
How accurate is it?
Very accurate for clear notes and well-structured material. Like any AI, Capy can occasionally get something wrong, so always cross-check anything important against your source.
Can I use it for any subject?
Yes. Humanities, sciences, languages, and exam prep like the MCAT, NCLEX, bar exam or SAT. Anything you can put into notes, Capy can turn into a study set.
Is there an Android or web version?
Not right now. StudyCapy is built natively for iPhone, so it stays fast and lives right next to your camera.
Can I talk to a real person?
Yes. Tap "Chat with the founders" in the app, or email hello@studycapy.com. We read everything.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. There's a Delete account option in settings. It permanently removes your account, your notes, quizzes, flashcards and uploaded material.
Your notes are already on your phone. So is Capy.
